A Silent Wish...
In silence...
I stand and wish...
My wish? A crystal ball,
so I would know...
So I could be sure
of life...and it's direction
I wish to know
the unknown
that causes me to
hold my hope close...
that makes me unwilling
to expose myself...
makes me unwilling
to put voice to a desire
that uplifts and soars
to places full of exhilaration
and fear.
I stand...
at a crossroad where
any direction could lead
to fulfilment...to heartache...
a place...
bottomless in potential...
fathomless in change
and changes
bringing my mistakes,
my humaness...and my hope.
up from the deepest
parts of me.
Decisions and indecision
gather at my feet
while at them I look
and I wish...
that I could know...
that I could be...sure.
